    Hi!!!!
I cant believe it!! I find an Irish in this world!!!!
I'm a lover of the Irish culture. I was living in Galway for 1 year and since then, I feel I am an Irish girl/woman. I also visited Limerik, Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry, Donegal, Sligo and I can't remember more places, hehe. My best friend is from Mullingar and she helped me to understand jokes among Irish people , the different accents, she also talked me about the gaelic, although the only one word I can pronouce is "Slainte",hehe.
I am Spanish so when I arrived to Galway I realised that everything was completly different from my country, but thanks to the "Irish behaviour" I felt I was at home!!. I can write an essay about Irelad but I am going to stop here..heheh.

If you don't mind I am going to add your space to my favourites!!

    Mariajo.
     I miss youuuuuuuuuu!!!...hehehehe....

    Hello MacDara!

I have been regularly reading your blog and I like the way you reflect on whole situation in Middle East, etc, you have very interesting Irish perspective, I think. As a foreigner, who has been leaving in Dublin for last 10 years, I have to say I enjoy your view on issues a lot.

I am a photographer, based here in Dublin, specializing in black and white Irish landscapes – you can see my portfolio at: www.PhilPankov.com

I was wondering if you would like to use any of my images to illustrate your blog – both Daragh from www.dublinblog.ie and Michael and Kevin from http://disillusionedlefty.blogspot.com used my images as headings on their Irish blogs. If you are interested in using my images, please let me know which ones and I will email you high-resolution files, free of charge of course. In return it would be great if you can add a link to my site – I am sure your visitors would be interested in seeing modern Ireland in ‘classic black and white’ format.

Alternatively, if you are interested, maybe you would like to exchange the links between our sites? Please let me know what description you would like and I will add your blog to my links page. I would like to have more links to blogs of Irish interest for my visitors.

By the way, this weekend I just finished uploading 12 new images from this year: http://www.philpankov.com/-/philpankov/gallery.asp?cat=39213 – I would be interested to know what you think of them, if you have time.

P.S. Is the Russian or Israel tank you are next to? Can't see from the back...

    Regards,

    Hi MacDara,

It always interesting hearing the different perspectives particularly from different nationalities and I always find the Irish are muy sympatico like the Canadians.

I look forward to reviewing past postings of your blog and future ones as well as we muddle through this mess which is scary as s#*!.

I only blog about political things in short stints if I can stomach it or make casual references to it in my blogs and then use humour  to deal with what I cannot solve or fathom.  No way do I consider myself to have any answers, I'm just trying to understand the questions, and I like to hear different points of view and experiences from people who have travelled in the world

I only recently discovered your website and bookmarked it to come back to.

You will find me at my new regular blog site: http://irishandlovingit.blogspot.com/

My old one on MSN I have decided not to use anymore unless maybe just for family once in a while.  http://slainte1959.spaces.live.com/

Missed out on Paddy's Day in Beirut, but will be back out in Beirut on 18th July.  I'm starting a new Project in the South of Lebanon.  Its a bold attempt to build Medical Centres in the Villages in what was known as The Irish Army's UN Area of Operations.  I hope to take out Irish Blocklayers, Plasterers, Electricians, Plumbers and Carpenters.  So if anyone out there wants to come on a Lebanese Building Site for one week, just log on to www.irishlebproject.com for details.  Who knows, I might even get MacDara to take up a shovel !!!!

Oh yea, I'm still taking Irish Soldiers and Ex-Soldiers out to Lebanon as tourists.  Look at the details on www.theleb.com

I just love your space.   I am very interested in the Irish Republic.   I have a very good friend that has talked about Irish Republic in some of our conversations.    I really enjoyed reading about different Irish items here.   I will be making your space a book mark for sure.

Take care and Good Luck in all you do.
